Kerry is the second most popular destination in Ireland for tourists, coming in just behind Dublin.
That’s according to Josephine O'Driscoll, who is manager of the Wild Atlantic Way with responsibility for Kerry and West Cork with Fáilte Ireland.
She was speaking at the Meitheal, which is Ireland’s biggest tourism showcase; the event is taking place in the Gleneagle Arena in Killarney.
Over 260 international tourism buyers and operators have travelled to Killarney to meet with more than 400 Irish tourism providers, in a bid to attract more businesses here.
Josephine O'Driscoll says they are working to promote Kerry as a year-long destination with lots to experience.
