A residential care service in Kerry has received a positive report from the health watchdog.
Mountainview was inspected across nine areas of the Health Act 2007 during an unannounced inspection on July 30th.
The facility, which is operated by Resilience Healthcare Limited was found to be fully compliant in five categories (staffing; training and staff development; communication; residents’ rights; and positive behavioural support).
HIQA found the service to be substantially compliant in four areas – governance and management; risk management procedures; protection; and individual assessment and personal plan.
Overall, inspectors noted staff and management were person centred in the care and support of residents.
