New figures from the latest Daft.ie Rental Report show that the cost of renting in Kerry has continued to rise over the past year.
Nationally, the supply of homes to rent has hit an all time low.
Daft.ie found there were fewer than 1,800 homes available to rent across the country on 1st February.
For apartments in Kerry, the average monthly rent for a 1-bedroom unit was €1,047, up 9% year-on-year.
A 2-bedroom apartment cost €1,354 per month, a 7.5% increase.
Turning to houses, the average rent for a 2-bedroom home was €1,310, up 7.3% on the year.
A 3-bedroom house rented for €1,532, while a 4-bedroom property averaged €1,879 per month, marking an 8.8% increase.
The report, which covers the final quarter of 2025, also breaks down average monthly rents by room type across the country.
In Kerry, most categories recorded year-on-year increases.
A double ensuite bedroom in a house, now costs an average of €624 per month, up 8.3% year-on-year.
For those renting a double room in a house without an ensuite, the average monthly rent stands at €562.
That is up 3.7% year-on-year.
Meanwhile, a double room in an apartment without an ensuite in Kerry costs an average of 575 euro per month - a more modest annual rise of 1.9 per cent.
Single rooms also recorded increases.
A single room in a house without an ensuite now costs an average of €523 per month - up 4.6 per cent on last year.
Overall, the report shows that both property and room rents in Kerry have continued to rise through 2025, with the strongest growth seen in larger homes and double rooms with private bathrooms.
