A Kerry native and former teacher of Irish soccer star Troy Parrott - says he has always had a great footballing brain.
Mary Shanahan, who is Chair of the Kerry Association Dublin, taught the AZ Alkmaar striker at O'Connell Secondary School in Dublin.
The Valentia native says it was always clear how talented Troy was and all of his schoolmates looked up to him.
Ms Shanahan managed the schools minor Gaelic football team to a Dublin final in Croke Park when Troy was just 14.
