Kerry MEP calls for EU to help Afghanistan women

A Kerry MEP is calling on the EU to help women in Afghanistan.

The repression and violence against women in the Asian country was discussed in the European Parliament recently.

The EU doesn’t recognise the Taliban as the de facto government, but Fine Gael Ireland South MEP Seán Kelly says there are things the union can do to help these women.
