A Kerry MEP is calling for immediate and heavy taxes on companies who are raking in huge profits from energy sales.
Seán Kelly says while the Ukraine war is definitely contributing to the price surge, it still doesn’t explain the massive increase in returns being posted by oil and gas multinationals.
Speaking at the EU Parliment in Strasbourg, MEP Kelly said it’s unjust that ordinary citizens are being fleeced in this manner.
