A man who received a bill of almost €700 from the fire service after his car was stolen from North Kerry and later burnt out, says the criminals responsible should have to pay.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, Michael Goulding's car was stolen from his home in Tarbert.
It was found in the Balllyneety/Fedamore areas of Limerick that evening burnt out; Gardaí are investigating.
Yesterday Mr Goulding received a bill of €685 from Limerick Fire Service for the call-out to the blaze.
Mr Goulding says his insurance will probably cover the fee eventually.
