A Kerry man has been awarded the Irish Hotels Federation President’s Award.
Martin Shanahan, who is originally from Abbeydorney, is the former CEO of IDA Ireland.
He was announced as this year’s recipient of the IHF President’s Award in honour of his outstanding contribution to tourism and to Ireland.

He was presented with the award at the IHF conference in Killarney.
