Kerry Library is taking part in the national Right to Read programme, promoting a love of reading for children of all ages.
The programme includes Spring Into Storytime this month, the Summer Stars reading initiative from June to August, the Children’s Book Festival in October, and Family Time events in December.
Spring Into Storytime offers story sessions for preschool and primary children, both online and in libraries.
Summer Stars is a free, non-competitive summer reading programme for children.
The Children’s Book Festival will feature author visits, storytimes, workshops, and family activities, celebrating Irish children’s authors and illustrators.
Family Time events in December will encourage parents and children to read together and enjoy books, e-books, and audio stories.
