Kerry LGFA says decision to cancel fixtures was for player and family welfare amid fuel crisis

Kerry LGFA says the decision to cancel matches this weekend was because player and family welfare comes first.

It comes as the association in the county postponed all club fixtures and juvenile intercounty training over the coming days.

Chair of Kerry LGFA Nora Fealey says the fuel shortages are putting real and immediate pressure on clubs, players, volunteers and referees.

She confirmed that all matches will be rescheduled, but this decision was made with community wellbeing in mind.
