Kerry leaving cert students invited to complete mental health survey
REPRO-FREE – Kerry Leaving Certs Mental Health Survey 2026 Launched. KERRY Mental Health Association is inviting Leaving Certificate students in the county to complete a survey to help determine the current state of their mental health and wellbeing. The Irish Second-Level Students Union will distribute the online survey to final year students in Kerry on Wednesday 18th March and the deadline for completion by 5pm on Friday 27th March. Leaving Cert students in Kerry are being invited to complete a mental health survey as the exams approach.

The anonymous research aims to help determine the current state of students’ mental health and wellbeing.

Kerry Mental Health Association says the previous survey took place in 2021, when the current Leaving Cert cohort were in first year.

It found 53% of respondents wouldn’t know where to go if they or someone needed help from professional mental health services.

86% found Covid-19 worsened their mental health, 60% were worried about fitting in with others, while a third reported being bullied in school.

The survey is available from March 18th, with the completion deadline at 5PM on March 27th.
