A joiner carpenter from Kerry has made it through to the semi-final of a national competition.
Jim Sweeney, who runs Sweeney Builders, Killorglin is in the Screwfix Top Tradesperson 2020.
The competition celebrates the work and professionalism shown by tradespeople throughout the year, and winner receives a €20,000 package including high spec tools.

The semi-final stages have been taking place online since September 11th and once complete, 10 tradespeople will be selected to take part in a virtual final.
