The Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport, Patrick O’Donovan, was in Killarney this week to launch an exhibition showcasing Kerry’s most famous faces.
The Kerry Icons exhibition by visual artist Paul Egan features 50 near-photo realistic portraits of influential Kerry figures.
These range from cultural figures such as John B. Keane and Peig Sayers to sports legends including David Clifford, as well as film stars Jessie Buckley and Michael Fassbender.
