Ireland is facing criticism over delays in introducing new EU measures aimed at improving pay transparency in the workplace.
A new survey for NFP has found six in ten workers feel underpaid or undervalued, with women significantly more likely than men to say they are not rewarded fairly.
The EU Pay Transparency Directive was due to be signed into Irish law this month.
The new rules are designed to give workers greater access to pay information and help identify unjustified gender pay gaps.
Caroline Reidy, Head of HR Solutions at NFP in Tralee, says it's concerning that Ireland is falling behind.
