A leading HR expert says cases are being taken to the Workplace Relations Commission relating to the wearing of masks in the workplace.
Caroline Reidy of the HR Suite in Tralee and Dublin, who's an adjudicator on the commission, says it's dealing with disputes where employers are trying to compel employees to wear face masks.
This relates to workplaces where masks must be worn such as retail.

She says these cases are resulting in disciplinary action, but says the hope is that these disputes could be resolved through consultation.
