Kerry householders are being advised to conserve water as much as possible during the current warm spell, to avoid restrictions later in the month.
While Kerry is not one of the 12 counties currently listed under 'drought status', Charlie O'Leary from Uisce Éireann says supplies are still relatively low here, after a particularly dry spring.
He's asking householders to take shorter showers, not leave taps running and only water their lawns in the late evening.
Mr O'Leary says certain parts of the county could have problems, if the warm weather and high temperatures continue:
Anyone with a leak in their home is asked to report it to Uisce Éireann on 1800 278 278.
