Castleisland-headquartered company, CFE Group, has been acquired which the company says will result in further expansion across Europe.
CPM, a leading global provider of process equipment, engineered technologies, and aftermarket support, has acquired CFE.
Founded in 1996 by Con Lynch and Pat Dennehy, CFE Group are the main suppliers of aftermarket consumables, pelleting equipment and engineering services to the animal feed and biomass sectors across Ireland and the UK.
The company has represented CPM’s product line of equipment since 2010 and it employs 61 people across four locations.
CFE, which is headquartered in Barrack Street in Castleisland, says this acquisition brings its team, customer relationships, and specialised refurbishment capabilities into CPM, and it strengthens the company’s ability to support customers across Europe throughout the full lifecycle of their equipment.
CEO of CFE, Con Lynch says for over 30 years they’ve built a global business with a superb team in Ireland and the UK; he says with this acquisition their team will take new opportunities to innovate and expand into new markets for the benefit of customers, employees and stakeholders.
The company says business for clients and partners continues as usual, with added resources and the backing of a global leader.
