Kerry Gardaí commemorate 100 years since graduation of first recruits

Gardaí in Kerry are commemorating the centenary of An Garda Síochána beginning to serve communities nationwide.

This week marks 100 years since the first Garda recruits graduated at a ceremony in the RDS, Dublin.

Gardaí in the Kerry Division marked the occasion by raising the Irish flag at garda stations around the county.
