Gardaí in Kerry arrested six drivers on suspicion of driving under the influence of excess alcohol over the weekend.
Gardaí are appealing to motorists to never drink and drive, and to think before getting behind the wheel after consuming alcohol.
They say that mandatory intoxicant testing checkpoints will continue to be carried out throughout the Kerry Garda Division at all times of the day and night.
