An inspector with the Kerry Roads Policing Unit says he’s surprised that some people are still not wearing their seatbelts.
Inspector Gary Carroll oversees roads policing in Kerry for bank holiday weekend safety operations.
He says this weekend Gardaí across the county and beyond will be focused on all aspects of road safety with detections made for speeding and people driving under the influence; there'll also be a focus on motorcyclists this long weekend.
