Kerry GAA has announced that it is recruiting its first commercial director in its 137-year history.
Chair of Kerry GAA Patrick O’Sullivan says this is a way for the brand to be maximised.
He says over a year-and-a-half ago the county board started to look at the format they were using for fundraising and they felt that format wouldn’t work forever.
Mr O’Sullivan says Kerry GAA feel this new commercial director will come up with new ways to fundraise; he says the association won’t survive without money.
He believes appointing a commercial director will help the county board complete all the projects they have in the pipeline:
