Kerry Fire Service tackling blaze at well-known Killarney hotel

Four units of the Kerry Fire Service are tackling a fire at a well-known Killarney hotel.

Limerick Fire Control received a call at 6:15am this morning about a fire in the kitchen of the Eviston Hotel on New Street.

Two units each from Killarney and Killorglin are currently at the scene, while units from Tralee and Castleisland were originally called to assist but have now left the scene.

There are no injuries reported, but Gardaí say the road is currently closed between Beech Road and Market Cross.
