The Kerry Fire Service is says it’s important to stay fire safe during the festive season.
Senior assistant chief fire officer, James Foley, says that while Christmas is about fun and spending time with family, it also brings a higher chance of fire.
He says to exercise caution as candles, cooking, open fires, and electrical devices all pose an increased risk.
