A Kerry Fianna Fáil TD wants an independent review into how Jim Gavin was selected by his party for the Presidential election.
Jim Gavin withdrew from the race after it emerged he hadn't repaid more than €3,000 in overpaid rent to a tenant.
Mícheál Martin addressed Fianna Fail's parliamentary party last night and apologised for his role in the fallout.
