Kerry County Council crews are ready to respond to any flooding caused by thunderstorms today.
A status orange thunderstorm warning has been extended until 10 o'clock tonight.
Met Éireann says heavy downpours of rain and hail will occur in places, with flooding where heavy downpours occur.
