Kerry County Council’s severe weather assessment team has been meeting in preparation for Storm Claudia.
A Status Yellow rain warning is in effect for Kerry and 12 other counties until 9 o’clock tomorrow morning.
The weather assessment team is considering the impacts of rain bands across the county.

The council says prolonged rainfall may result in localised spot flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
The local authority is advising road users to drive with care.
