Kerry County Council (KCC) is proposing a series of temporary road closures to facilitate the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle on Saturday, 4 July.
The closures would affect roads in Killarney, Fossa, Killorglin, Sneem and Kenmare at various times throughout the day.
Anyone wishing to object to the proposed closures has until 4pm on Monday, 8 June to make a submission to Kerry County Council in writing or by email.
Mission Road in Killarney (N71) would be closed from 5am to 9am and again from 11.30am to 8pm on Saturday, 4 July.
The closure would extend from Kenmare Place to the junction of Mission Road, New Street and the R877
Beech Road (L3909) in Killarney would also be closed from 5am to 9am and from noon until 8pm.
The closure would run between the junctions of Beech Road and New Street, and Beech Road and Mission Road
The N72 between Fossa and Killorglin would be closed from 6am to 9am.
The closure would extend from the junction of the N72 and R563 Milltown Road at Fossa, via Ballymalis and Anglont, to the junction of the N72 and N70 at Laune Bridge in Killorglin.
Traffic would be diverted via the R563 through Faha and Listry and the N70 from Milltown to Killorglin.
The eastbound lane of the N70 between Killorglin and Caragh Bridge would be closed from 6am until noon.
The closure would extend from the Iveragh Road Roundabout through Iveragh Road, Tullig and Quaybaun to Caragh Bridge.
A one-way diversion would be in place for eastbound traffic travelling from Caherciveen and Glenbeigh via the L-4022, L-4033 and L-4034 through Dooks, Cromane, Garraun and Castleconway.
Westbound traffic travelling from Killorglin towards Glenbeigh would remain on the N70
The R568 between Sneem and Molls Gap would be closed from 11am until 8pm.
The closure would run from Derreendarragh Cross to the junction of the R568 and N71 at Molls Gap.
Meanwhile, the N71 between Kenmare and Torc would also be closed from 11am until 8pm.
The closure would extend from the junction of the N70 and N71 at Gortamullin, via Molls Gap and Galway's Bridge, to Torc Waterfall car park.
Motorists travelling between Killarney and Kenmare during those hours are being advised to use the N22 and R569 via Glenflesk and Kilgarvan.
Separately, Lower New Street Car Park in Killarney would be closed from 7am on Friday, 3rd July until midnight on Saturday, 4th July.
Anyone wishing to object to the proposed road closures has until 4pm on Monday, 8th June to lodge an objection with Kerry County Council.
