Kerry County Council advise swimmers to avoid Ballybunion beaches

Kerry County Council is advising swimmers to avoid bathing in both beaches in Ballybunion.

This is due to elevated levels of bacteria found in samples over the past few days.

Signs will be in place at the beach and the red flag will fly for the duration of the advisory.

The situation will be reviewed following the next round of sampling.
