A Kerry County Councillor says housing policy has swung too much in favour of renters.
Independent councillor Brendan Cronin has condemned new laws which require owners of short-term lets, across the country, to apply for planning permission.
This is because every part of the country is now treated as a rent pressure zone.
Up to last Friday, this had been restricted and the only part of Kerry that had been an RPZ was Killarney.
Cllr Cronin says owners of short-term let properties are easy targets.
