Coastal communities in Kerry are being asked to report suspicious activity to Gardaí to combat crime such as drug smuggling.
The force’s Coastal Watch has been relaunched in the Southern Region today, following several high-profile drug seizures including over two point two tons of cocaine onboard the MV Matthew.
The public is being asked to report unknown boats landing in remote locations, RIBs and boats with names removed or concealed, and unexpected tyre tracks on laneways.
