Children in Kerry are among some of the healthiest in the country.
That's according to figures from the Central Statistics Office published in today's Irish Independent.
The research shows that in the HSE south-west region of Kerry and Cork 95.2% of children reported good or very good health.
Nationwide it was found that nine in ten children aged from two to seventeen years were in good or very good health.
However this could not be said for dental health. Around 82% of those surveyed regarded the health of their children as "good or very good", while over 3% of those surveyed regarded their dental health as "bad or very bad"
