The health watchdog says residents of a Kerry centre for people with disabilities receive good quality, person centered care.
The Health Information and Quality Authority carried out an unannounced inspection at Luchanna on February 20th.
The centre, which is run by Resilience Healthcare Limited, was inspected across nine areas of the Health Act 2007.
HIQA found Luchanna to be fully compliant in seven categories, and substantially compliant in two - residents’ rights; and individual assessment and personal plan.
To meet the criteria, management outlined the introduction of systems to document discussions on complaints and safeguarding; and tracking progress towards residents’ SMART goals.
