The Cathaoirleach of Seanad Éireann has told President Zelenskyy that Ireland and Europe will continue to stand with Ukraine.
Kerry Senator Mark Daly made the concluding remarks to the joint sitting of the Houses of the Oireachtas.
The Kenmare native visited Kiev and met with Volodymyr Zelenskyy in May 2022, in a show of solidarity amid the on-going invasion by Russia.

Speaking in the Dáil, the Fianna Fáil senator said peace cuts to the core of Irish and European values.
