An American based Kerry non-profit organisation is hosting its annual dinner dance and capital campaign this evening.
The Kerry Association of New York, which keeps the Kerry and Irish dispora connected in the Big Apple, hosts its 55th edition of the dance later.
Over the last 11 years, the association, has donated over $600,000 to worthy causes and charities in Kerry.

It says all proceeds from the event are to address urgent repairs and maintenance works to restore it's headquarters - the Kerry Hall in Yonkers.
