Kerry was among the most popular destinations for domestic tourism in Ireland last year.
That’s according to the CSO’s household travel survey for 2025.
The Southern region, which includes Kerry, Cork, Clare and Limerick, accounted for the highest percentage of domestic trips last year.
Between October and December over 1.3 million trips were made to the region.
In total, a total of 15.3 million overnight domestic trips in 2025 were taken, an 8% decrease compared with 2024.
