Kerry was among the most popular destinations for domestic tourism in Ireland between April and June last.
That’s according to data from the Central Statistics Office for the third quarter of 2025.
The Southern region, which includes Kerry, Cork, Clare and Limerick, accounted for almost half (49%) of all domestic trips in the state.
Over 2.3 million (2,328,000) visits were made to the region in the third quarter of 2025, a 5% rise on the same period last year.
The figures show the average stay of domestic trips was 2.7 nights; holidays accounted for the highest number of trips, followed by visiting family or relatives.
