Kerry is among four counties which could see surface water flooding and lightning damage tonight.

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow weather warning for thunderstorms and rain in Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Galway from 7pm.

It runs until 7 o'clock tomorrow morning.

Met Éireann says to expect difficult travelling conditions.
