A candidate in the Kenmare electoral area has received information about a pelican crossing at Mill Road, Killorglin.

Michael Cahill says Kerry County Council will look at operating efficiency to establish if the time settings are optimised.

He had asked if the current traffic lights could be replaced with a pedestrian crossing closer to the entrance of Fair Field crossing.
