Cllr Cahill highlighted the need for connections between Glenbeigh, Glencar and Dromid; the Gap of Dunloe, Beaufort and Killarney, and improved links from Killarney to Mallow across the Kilcummin and Beaufort areas.

He urged the council to write to the National Transport Authority and Transport Minister to seek funding for increased frequency of services and expanded routes.
