A North Kerry nursing home has acquired planning permission for a major extension.
Riverside nursing home in Abbeydorney is to renovate the front of the existing building and construct a single storey extension onto the side.
The plans include the construction of 14 bedrooms with ensuites, an office, a dining area, lounge and an isolation room.

The planning application was submitted to Kerry County Council on June 1st last year.
