A new District Court Judge has been assigned to the Kerry area.
At Tralee District Court Judge David Waters confirmed that his final court sitting in the district will be on June 26th in Dingle.
He confirmed that Judge Carol Anne Coolican has been appointed to District 17 – which includes, Tralee, Killarney, Listowel, Dingle and Cahersiveen courts.

Judge Coolican is currently presiding over Limerick District Court and will begin sitting in the county on July 1st at Tralee District Court.
Meanwhile, Judge Waters has been appointed to District Court 19 – which is Cork City.
