Jessie Buckley has added another award to her post-Oscar haul, thanks to the Kerry Association in Dublin.
The Killarney woman has been awarded the Kerry Association in Dublin's Arts Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the arts.
Chairperson of the Arts Sub Committee Jimmy Deenihan said that the committee was "unanimous in granting this prestigious award to Jessie Buckley in recognition of her historic achievement."

In accepting the award Jessie said "growing up in Kerry was a gift in recognising the capacity for beauty and wildness in our own human expression."
The award is to be formally presented to her in the near future.
