Jessie Buckley has been named best actress in the 'movie drama category' at the Golden Globes.
The Killarney native won the award for her role in 'Hamnet', portraying the wife of William Shakespeare.
Her co-star Paul Mescal didn't win in his best supporting actor category.

Hamnet also won best motion picture drama at the ceremony in Los Angeles overnight.
