HSE South West has moved one step closer to delivering Sláintecare and fully integrate healthcare services across Kerry and Cork.
Local services are now managed by 14 teams in the three Healthcare Areas across the two counties.
ISD, or Integrated Service Delivery teams will deliver the appropriate care across the three Healthcare Areas of Kerry, Cork South and West, and Cork North and East.

Each ISD team is responsible for delivering all health and social care services within their community.
The end goal is a population-based, geographic service delivery model and brings decision-making on services closer to communities.
