The President of Ireland has unveiled a War of Independence monument in South Kerry.
President Michael D Higgins and his wife Sabina are currently in Kenmare for a number of engagements.
They unveiled the monument in the Square.
President Higgins and his wife Sabina are also visiting the Kenmare Peninsula Lands and Cumann na mBan Park.
