Irish Hospice Foundation seeking Kerry participants for end of life research project

The Irish Hospice Foundation is seeking participants in Kerry for research that will examine end-of-life experiences.

The Photovoice project combines photography and storytelling in an effort to highlight the thoughts, issues and emotions that people experience at the end of life.

Kerry people in the last 12 to 18 months of life will be asked to take photos of objects, symbols or scenes and explain the meaning behind them.

Their images and captions will be displayed in community galleries and exhibition spaces in Dublin, before being rolled out to other counties.

Director of Research and Policy Sara Leitão hopes to show the voices, views and experiences of people going through the end-of-life journey.
