Ireland South MEP says new EU act will make cross-platform messaging easier

An Ireland South MEP says it could soon be easier to communicate across multiple messaging apps.

The EU Digital Markets Act aims to allow users to exchange texts, calls and files across different apps.

A final vote on the act will be held by EU lawmakers this week.
