Ireland South candidate says lack of home support in Kerry is shameful

An Ireland South candidate says the lack of available home support services for older people in Kerry is shameful.

Susan Doyle from the Social Democrats was speaking as figures released to her party leader Holly Cairns show over 1,300 are waiting for home support across Kerry and Cork.

Susan Doyle says the HSE needs to explain how these waiting lists have spiralled out of control, and put an immediate plan in place to address them.
