An online information session about Disabled Persons Organisations (DPOs) will be held this afternoon (Monday, 27 July).
The Zoom event is open to people with disabilities living in Kerry, and those interested in learning more about DPOs from two to 3pm.
It is organised by Independent Living Movement Ireland (ILMI), a group which aims to help people with disabilities achieve independent living, choice and control over their lives, and full participation in society as equal citizens.
The meeting will discuss what local DPOs do, why they matter, and how to get involved in building a disabled people's movement in Kerry.
To register for the event, ring/text 087 718 9237, or email [email protected].
