The Irish Medical Organisation says it's unfortunate the Health Minister isn't attending its annual conference in Kerry which begins today.
A spokesperson says she can't go to the event in Killarney because of a ''long standing personal commitment that predated her appointment.''
The conference will discuss the Minister's desire for consultants to work over seven days instead of Monday to Friday.
